About Oranda LLC in Education

With Oranda LLC, Beauchamp was awarded the 2016

International Educational Entrepreneur of the Year Award

After nearly 10 years of classroom teaching and 10 years of teaching teachers, Ruth Beauchamp founded Oranda as a not-for-profit to publish and curate classroom engagement strategies, leadership tools, and courses to help teachers, schools, and communities engage, connect and grow with each other and their children.

Classroom Engagement Strategies

Over the course of her career, Beauchamp has visited thousands of classrooms where she experienced stressed-out teachers and students, disengaged students, and discouraged teachers.

Beauchamp was compelled to synthesize what she had learned from her 20 plus years in education along with her interests in mindfulness, active learning and neuroscience. In 2010, she compiled the best of her best classroom engagement strategies & and course activities and published as a tool to manage moods for learning.  In two years,  made its way into five continents.

In 2013, was rebranded, repackaged and refreshed as  and can still be purchased as a SET OF CARDS, or a PDF.

Select activities are available as an itunes app or a FREE SAMPLER.
